Freshen up this spring

So we often all talk about freshening up our homes in the spring time, maybe with a good clear out, by touching up the walls with some paint or by fixing the nagging tap that has been dripping every day throughout the winter. Often by fixing these things, we feel better and allow ourselves to get ready to enjoy the summer months without having to turn our hand to fixing or cleaning anything.

It’s the same in business, a ‘freshen up’ in the spring can result in your customers noticing a change.  A new spring in your step, or maybe your businesses, if the step needs fixing! This attention to detail makes customers feel better about using your business as it represents how you run your business, and we all like companies that spend time on attention to detail.

What does a ‘freshen up’ involve?

The simple answer to that is as much as you want. Many companies like to give their premises a coat of paint each year, to keep it looking new and invigorated. If you have a list of works that you want completed, then now is as good a time as any to get things mended. It is also worth noting when the last time your electrical equipment was PAT tested and if your emergency lighting has been flick tested or dead tested.
